Tsakalidis was acquired by the Grizzlies from Phoenix on September 30, 2003 and re-signed Sept. 10, 2004 after the Grizzlies matched an offer sheet he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers .

“This is a good opportunity for Jake to have more playing time,” said West. “He is a great person and a true professional, and we wish him well in the future.”

yeh nice trade, they needed another backup center and they got it, nothing special but he fill in the timesheet for yao since his injury prone. maybe a replacement for deke if he decides to retire, but they are in the same position as us with an ageing roster players.

I wonder when was the last time a team has had three player over 7-2.
Rockets are the last old school team in the league : defense and big centers.

They are by far the best defense in the league and they have some great talent : they will be really dangerous in playoffs. I don't think Spurs will play against them in the first round but they should face mavs or Suns in the second and it won't be at all an easy serie for Mavs/Suns.
