Good luck.
Prayers to you and a speedy recovery.
Thoughts and prayers with you buddy. See you on the other side
I'll pray for you. May God be with the doctors as they perform the surgery on you.
Good luck, Im sure everything will be ok. I had spine surgery 2 months ago, (although I know heart surgery is much more serious), and was scared less, but it turned out just fine. I will be praying for you
Good luck dude. I'm sure everything will turn out well.
On a related note, will this prevent you from playing basketball in the future (or any sport for that matter)?
I'm sorry, I don't know what an ASD defect is exactly.
Atrial Septal Defect
Congenital malformation usually diagnosed and fixed in children, but sometimes can persist undiagnosed into adulthood.

Namaste bro.
I hope your surgery goes without incident and you have a speedy recovery....
good luck, man.
I'm back
Lokks like your wishes helped, thanks.
The result of surgery is excellent, the doctors have done really great job.
First 3 days were painful, I was just lieing in the bed (I'm 6'3'' and the bed is small so it was a little uncomfortable), could't do nothing, even seat, stand up or eat, but that's usual wneh you wake up from anesthesia and when you comsume all those pills and medications.
Then I had to learn how to walk againwasn't easy.
Since then my feeling is better every day and today doctors let me go gome.
There is still pain in my chest so I must be careful for 2-3 months until my breast bone heal-up.
I can expect full recovery after 3-6 months, so no playing basketball or any other sports, just watching
But then I'll be better like i was before the surgery. (*jinx*)
