Scott Ritter, once head of U.N. Weapons Inspections teams, had the odacity to contradict the administration on Iraqi WMDs before the war. So the administration tried to set him up with some child porno bull- , and when that didn't work they started rumors that he was bribed by Saddam.
No surprise that Ritter would work for Al-Jazeera given the U.S. corporate medias horrible record for reporting the truth.
