WASHINGTON -- Following his political address at a ceremony honoring his NBA Champion Miami Heat, head coach Pat Riley announced he would take a break from voting due to his ailing hip.
Riley also announced he would suspend Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, immediately for not following a regiment he laid out about voting on house resolutions.

For the record, I am neither pro-Bush or anti-Bush, I'm just curious.
obviously i wouldn't be saying the same thing. support of george bush is not just bad taste or stupidity, but a character flaw.
I still can get over the fact that Walker was in the same room as Bush. Is there not a law regarding Aliens?
What's funny is that those three things are all pretty easily identified as being anti-Bush.
They actually have alot in common...Walker throws up a load of shots at the hoop in hopes that one or two will fall in....and Bush throws loads of money and soldiers at the war in hopes that a small morsel of good will come of it.

I got no problems with Bush. Democrats are going to up the country soon and make us a ing socialist country. The years after Bush are the years I fear most when the Democrats rule.

That is a good point. The Dems will go radically opposite of Bush in every aspect, and that won't be a good thing. I just hope Obama wins it, not Hillary. Hillary will ruin this country.
Either way, this upcoming election will tell alot about the state of this country - would they rather have a black man or a white woman as President? Or, do they fear the thought of a black or a woman running this country so much that they'll vote another crusty old white man Republican into office? I'm betting on the last one.

funny thing is i completely agree with you on this... except the Hillary will ruin the country... i think she might do a lil better than Bush did. I think anyone could do better than BUSH did... maybe even me...
i hate that this country is not prepared for a black man or a woman to be in office, but that might be a breath of fresh air... might be what the country needs...

Well maybe not ruin the country...but basically I think balance is the only way things will run smoothly. Going too extreme one way (Bush) or the other way (Dems in response to Bush) won't work, imo.
