Just one day after being jilted by quarterback Jake Plummer, who mulled retirement rather than relocate in a trade, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have recovered, reaching a Saturday agreement with unrestricted free agent Jeff Garcia on a deal that could allow the veteran to again challenge for a starting job in the league.

Plummer said he would retire rather than go to the Bucs. I guess Garcia was the back up plan. It wont matter, he will go back to his old crappy self again next year

I didn't. I can still see Al Davis going after Calvin Johnson. If they trade Moss, he will draft Calvin.

What good is a WR if you have nobody that can get the ball to him?

Andrew Walters is the NFLs best kept secret Butta!!

Apparently Plummer had a change of heart

Considering how Al Davis is, I still have yet to say that Calvin won't go to the Raiders. Plus, Al Davis doesn't care for young QBs that much. Also, he could get a QB later in the draft or next year.

Yet, more so, they need an offensive line. Brooks and Walter got owned on almost every play because the line blows.

There wont be any good qbs after Quinn and Russell are gone, at least none that can help immediately. I agree that I think there might be a good chance that Davis takes Johnson, especially because he doesnt play rookie qbs ever. I still dont get how Quinn has slipped so far, if I had the first pick he would be a no brainer.

I think I would take Russell slightly over Quinn.

Why? Russell had one really good game and everybody got on his nuts. I know he is huge and decently fast with a cannon for an arm, but Aaron Brooks had all those things as well and that didnt work out to well. It all comes down to desicion making, and Quinn has that over Russell in spades

Im not sure either will be ready for immidiate action, but could make good for the future.

Aaron Brooks had all of that? Brooks is a pussy and sucks Also, like I said earlier, the Raiders need an o-line that can actually hold a block.

I really think people are making a mistake about Quinn, I think he will be damn good. He was already running a pro system at ND, I think he could help a team right now. I hope the phins get him

not really, they traded his rights for a conditional pick anyway. if he does retire he cannot return to any team but tampa i think.

if he falls to 9 Ill be happy. We need a QB for the Future, Culpepper is not the answer.

Like Peyton used to do every year in college? That worked out in the end though

Or like Elway used to do in the big one......also worked out in the end.

Quinn is going to be way better than Russell, just as good as an athlete with way better desicion making

So what you think that the Bucs just want to throw away a pick? I highly doubt it, he will be in uniform for them next year
