Drinking is exactly what I did. Especially when I found out we got put at a table with people we didn't even know. I hate that. It was our fault though since we showed up late for the reception. We decided to skip the wedding and just go to the reception. So everyone we knew was across the room by the time we got there. But the alcohol & food was wonderful. And my husband was very sweet and romantic.
