That Stan/SC game is tuff. SC hasn't played well as of late, Stanf killed them there and SC squeaked by the at home... but it is still hard for me to see them beating them again. Especially since the tourney is in LA.
Stanford and UW are two big sleepers in the Pac-10 tournament. They have the most size of all the teams in the league.
Well the Ducks just blew out Arizona 69-50 so I got that one right!
Az sucks big time right now. Their seniors, which led them early, have all but disappeared. Ivan shows up from time to time, but overall, it's the inconsistancy that's killing the team. Can't count on a damn thing from them...

Arizona fans should be pissed right now. I know I am. Arizona shows up today, they skate to the Pac-10 Tournament le game, likely vs. Washington State, a team that they've played very close. As it is, they lose in the first round only to see their only real compe ion go out early.
My prediction for Washington State to win the Pac-10 Tourney le and steal the #1 seed from UCLA is looking better and better. Though, Wazzu's loss to UCLA last week hurt that prediction. That was a game I figured they'd win, it being at Wazzu and all...

Since the loss the only thing I've listened to is Jerry Cantrell's "Hurts Don't It?"... Seems to some up the mood pretty well.
It'll be interesting to see how overrated the Pac-10 is in the NCAAs.

Everything is shaping up nicely for the Ducks. They are peaking at the right time. If Brooks and Porter are both hot they can't be beaten.

It's usually a pretty strong conference in the tournament... at least winning the games they're supposed to in the first 2 rounds. Still, I would love to see UCLA out early.
If we want to talk about overrated, let's bring out the Big 10 and Big East talk right now, please...

Go Oregon! Only quality Pac-10 team Arizona beat this year. The win looks that much better when Oregon comes away with a Tourney le and a Top-4 seed.

Oregon in a rout. Their starters beat the ever-lovin' stuffing out of USC's... they had their three-ball falling and nothing could be done to slow them. If they keep the hot hand, they make the Sweet-16 easy. Probably even the Elite-8. They have four players that can explode for 20 points any given game and have a consistant floor general in Brooks. They'll be a tough beat.
Where is JGW, he will be like the little that he is and say that USC did not play very well. Then make some sorry ass excuse about the condoms breaking.
