Cowboys re-sign Colombo to two-year, $7M dealBy John Clayton

Colombo
A week after the Cowboys paid more than $49 million to add Leonard Davis to the right side of their defensive line, the Cowboys filled out the rest of the right side by re-signing right tackle Marc Colombo.
Colombo received a two-year, $7 million deal that included a $4 million signing bonus. The Jets were among other teams pursuing the former Bears No. 1 draft choice, but Colomboopted to stay with the Cowboys.
With Colombounder contract, Davis can now concentrate on playing right guard. Columbo's re-signing was considered a top priority of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. He re-signed center Andre Gurode before the start of free agency and then added Davis last week. The return of Colomboends any uncertainty about the offensive line.

yea, our o-line potentially could be great next year
Thank god... this makes me much less worried about Davis. I still thinks it sucks that a sack of like Davis is our highest paid OL... but that is the way it goes I guess.
It makes me way less worried that he will be lining up at right guard instead, Colombo will help him a lot
LT-FLozell Adams Lg- Kyle Kosier C-Andre Gurode RG-Leonard Davis RT-Marc Colombo +mobile QB=less sacks, great line
JJ is going to have some big games running right up the gut on draws.
Marion Barber is gonna have some 20 yard TD runs as opposed to the 10 and under yards.
Supposedly there are a couple teams trying to trade for Marion, including Buffalo, I hope we dont trade him unless we draft Michael Bush
That's if we run him straight through the holes or between the tackles instead of sweeping him to the right or left. GOD that play in the Philly game still pisses me off.![]()
No . By the way, love the sig. It's not really hate. It's called ENVY my friend. Silver and Blue for life!!!!
