Not going to matter much. Both teams will not care . The playoffs is what they are focused on. If the division or top seed was at stake then it would matter.
April 15th seems so far away, and no other match up in the NBA has my heart racing.
No other game has me looking at the clock during game day counting down the minutes.
No other game has me wash and iron my game gear.
No other game has everyone at the bar mesmerized for every minute of the game.
No other game makes me smoke a pack of ciggs and drink 10 beers in one night.
No other game makes me cheer louder or feel prouder.
No other game, is like a Spurs vs. Mavs game.

The two seed might still be attainable. It will be interesting to see if Avery plays his starters significant minutes. Maybe to send a message? It would be stupid to risk injury in a meaningless game.

If the Jazz get the 3 seed then y'all are gonna have to deal with SA and Phx to get back to the Show. Otherwise just one of us.
No one said the Spurs aren't a threat...the Mavs barely beat em last year and probably wouldn't have if Flopnobli didn't make the DUMBEST foul in basketball history. Spurs are a great team and so are the Mavs. If they meet it's gonna be a battle

Here is a man with some smarts. Best thing for the Mavs is for the Suns and Spurs to keep winning. even if the Suns and Spurs make some ground as long as the Mavs finish one game infront of em it's all that matters

I swore that Amarelooms was a Suns fan at first. that would explain the name. Well by Apr 15 nobody will really care unless the race tightens, which probaly wont happen since the Mavs fatalitied the Lakers and probaly wont look back now, and the Spurs will be busy fighting off the Jazz and trying to catch up to Phoenix simultaneously.
And they wonder why we clown them when we talk about the Regular Season. Who gives a if the Mavs finish one game ahead in the regular season?

It's really not that big of a game...Spurs win? Who cares. Mavs win? Who cares. It's not a test for either team. Of course, I'll be happy if the Spurs win. I won't mean much though.
What if the Mavs are at 69 (or 70) wins before the Spurs game?Mavs have to go 17-1 (or 18-0) for this to happen.
If the Spurs are still in the #2-#4 fight, we'll have a good game.
I have a feeling AJ will welcome a loss or two in the next few games. They can't be caught anyway, and a loss or two will take the pressure off a 72-win chase.
Spurs may be playing to win due to seeding issues but the mavs will be playing not to get hurt. I see the Spurs beating the Mavs' skeleton crew.
That's what I was thinking. It will be WAY too close to the playoffs, and the Mavs will have everything wrapped up by then.
