I finally got that $75 laptop to work with my wireless network card! I still have to get the "K" key to stay on, but other than that, it's a decent Win98 machine. (Now I just gotta hope Ruth isn't too upset that I'm up so late working on this thing.)

What is it with folks from India and the K key broken off their laptops? Do they use that letter a lot? Something tells me we should have got that one DELL off ebay for 25.00 dollars just for the parts. Hey did you activate my cell phone? Thanks Taco. I tried then I just switched Mouse's and it worked. Bad thing is that I messed up the setup and now I can't see my "start" button on the bottom tool bar. I don't know what I did. Thanks though!!

The man was from Pakistan and he now works at USAA for some reason the company he worked for still uses win98. Even Bigzax's work uses it. But the laptop was a steal for 70.00 Dollars. The man also is selling his 20 something inch TV with DVD built in he wants 200 but he will take what he can get. By the time I ran into him in the mail box room he had just sold hid desktop pc for 80.00 dollars. It was a DeLL 2400 with key/mouse/monitor and printer.
