Don't take the bait.
It's an important regular season game, but a regular season game nonetheless. I remember last year the Spurs and Mavs met in a highly-anticipated matchup on TNT. I think San Antonio ended up winning by 9 and pulling away late after a back and forth tight game. And of course the pundits came out and said Dallas was still not up to snuff when it came to San Antonio. We see how that turned out. No doubt Dallas and Phoenix are evenly matched and last night was Round 3 in an 11-round heavyweight fight.
I do recall Dirk nailing a jumper over Marion to win the last time these two teams played. And I remember Nash sucking in Game Six of the Conference Finals last year. We'd be wise not to draw sweeping conclusions from one game, especially one regular season game. This will all be sorted out in May for good.

Ya know, PHO was so eager to win that they only played 8 guys in a TWO OT game. That kind of comes back to haunt you in the long run.
D'Antoni has never figured out that you don't screw the postseason by overdoing it in the regular season and this year is no exception.
