Packers | Team reportedly close to Moss trade
Thu, 15 Mar 2007 11:54:11 -0700
Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland Raiders are on the verge of announcing the trade of WR Randy Moss, according to a source in Wisconsin. The Packers would receive Moss, TE Courtney Anderson and a 2009 conditional pick. The Raiders would receive QB Aaron Rodgers and a 2008 seventh-round pick. Moss, according to the source in Wisconsin, has agreed to restructure his contract. However, a source close to Rodgers has denied the rumor and said the two teams have not had substantive discussions.
Dont know how sure this is, but of course a source close to Rodgers would deny it
Well Rogers,if I remember correctly, was suppose to go number one overall in 04' but he had a big freefall, and then, well, like us he's seen better days.
This will surely happen. Brett Farve and Randy Moss. UNTHINKABLE.![]()
moss and farve are both past their prime
farve must really think he needs help trying to break dan's record
i'd love to see this trade. Favre is my favorite player and Moss is in bad position...
Nah... Trading Rogers only proves that Favre plans to play until at least 2015.
they were talking about this on ESPN the other day and said that it was not as close to a done deal as they were saying. Basically they said that Aaron rodgers was not who the raiders wanted and that Green Bay would only do the trade if it was a bargain deal.
