Joe Alexander: Spurs vs. Celtics
PREGAME
As Tim Duncan was getting ready for tonight's game against the Boston Celtics, the end of Texas A&M's 72-69 victory over Louisville was being shown on the big screen at the AT&T Center. It appeared that Duncan, a Wake Forest grad, was sneaking looks up to see how the game was going.
The Spurs had won 13 straight games before Thursday's road loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. During most of their streak, the Spurs were playing some of their best defense of the season.

I wish I could watch!
I hope ya'll win good luck. GO TEXAS
I have to say - I don't like playing the Celtic on St. Patricks Day. Not good mojo there.
What's the streak of SA over celtics since Tim Duncan was drafted?
At least its not 17 games because all of those 17 game streaks that ended this year plus the st patricks day thing would be too much to overcome.
judging by the celtics broadcast on league pass it doesn't seem that they know the spurs 13 game win streak has ended.
great, the spurs are wearing the spacesuit jerseys tonight
Why did Elson come out so early?
Another sluggish start for the Spurs!
Got hit in the eye by Rondo.
Thanks, I didn't know because I'm keeping up with it on Yahoo Sports. I thought he just made Pop mad or something.
please take oberto out...he has no defense and cant get a rebound to save his life. once oberto came in it seems like all the points the celtics are getting is comming from the paint.
I kind of assumed they'd come out with Pop wrapped around their necks after the last game....It sounds like they didn't learn anything after the loss?
not so sure of that. it seems our perimeter d is great its our defense in the paint thats killing us. the other night it was our d period.
with oberto in they were scoring at will
this team is ing terrible
ugh
I can't actually watch the game, so I'm following the score on NBA.com and reading the posts here.![]()
