Your file associations are ed.
All of my icons now have the adobe gif and if I try to open them, only adobe reader tries to open up, but it doesn't. It says, "Adobe read could not open "whatever file I am trying to open" because it is not supported or because the file is damaged.

yeah, i have no idea how it happened. it had to be my gf or cousin... how do i change them back... also, i can't even use system restore bc the icon for that is ed too!
goto your file assocs, and delete it, and the click on the file icon again it will ask you choose a program to open the assoc file.....
