Do you take English at your school?
until now. i just finished a high school paper and i chose to do a report on David Robinson and i just learned how the injury led to the #1 overall pick and Tim Duncan. i was just thinking how crazy and fortunate that is to get 2 amazing players that way.
i know its a random thread but thats pretty cool

No . Rather than analyzing Shakespeare and writing about it, I wish I could have written about something I actually cared about

God kid...in my day (and not that long ago) I would have gotten a ing F for writing like you do. They don't give F's for anymore do they because of the weak psyche and emotional frailty of your generation right?
How about how lucky San Antonio was to get Dallas to lease them their team on a 3-year lease with option to purchase?
Or how about how lucky San Antonio was to have shrewd management like Angelo Drossos who saw that the Virginia Squires of the ABA were strapped for cash? The Squires had Dr. J and George Iceman Gervin. The Spurs' Drossos offered to loan Squires' owner $225,000 using George Gervin as collateral if the loan wasn't paid by February. The loan deadline passed and the Spurs got Iceman.

actually no im not this was a while back ago but they were discussing Robinson on CBS and this reminded me of it. graduated in '99.

"Discussing Robinson on CBS"... Exactly, when was this "story" reported? I'm curious because the "Robinson Spurs" never played on CBS. NBC took over the broadcasting of the NBA in his rookie season. That's what I'm wondering, too. It seems like this thread is more about the poor quality of the originator's education (whether on-going or concluded) than it is about the Blessings of the Red Chameleon.
Luck would have fallen with any team in the NBA. Anyone that landed Tim Duncan would be "LUCKY". However, I can't image Duncan in any other uniform. He looks perfect in the Spurs uniform.

Although its a good argument to say the season was tanked, the simple fact of the matter is that the Spurs were not in line to get the number one draft pick, Boston was as they had the most balls in the lottery and if I'm not mistaken the Spurs had the least amount. But the lucky bounce came our way and we got Timmy. I call it fate
