    This may have been brought up but I have not seen it. Why is this years draft considered deep?

    Is it because there are a lot of players or a lot of players with more talent than in previous seasons?

    There's a whole draft thread already. But...

    New rule forcing high schoolers to go to college one year shifted a lot of talent from last year to this year, three or four Florida guys could have gone pro last year stayed in, overall just a lot of good talent. It'd be a good year normally but talent stayed in one year and come out this year. Strangely enough there are only 3 European players thought to be first rounders and 1 guy from China. Only the Chinese guy is thought to be a lock for the lottery.

    the return of big men youth coming into the league which will revive the 5 and 4 position hopefully for the future...
