my clock shows 4:38pm, but this post shows 3:38
I need help with the computer clock.
This morning I noticed it was an hour behind, so I changed it. Then I noticed all me email coming in was an hour behind as well as posts on this forum.
My clock is set to Central time with automatically adjusting to DST checked. I've sycronized the internet clock.
Is my computer haunted?
my clock shows 4:38pm, but this post shows 3:38
?
uncheck automatically adjust for dst, and don't synchronize.
nope...shows 3:45
EDIT ...my bad... read the topic wrong
i work from home!
Then call it a day and go to the movies.![]()
I know what it is. My computer thinks it's on standard time instead of DST. And it won't change.
user error
S y, it is because Congress changed Daylight Savings time start date. If you are using Microsoft Windows, go to the Microsoft Download area and dowload software updates http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
Specifically, if you are running Windows XP, here is the link to handle the Time zone change issue:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
If you have MS Outlook check here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
god wants you to arrive early for your date and see no man waiting for you, that way you come home sad and get with me.
I already had the patch for XP. It DID change when we went to DST. Just today is when it converted back to standard time. I tried to download the patch again and windows said I already had it and can't reinstall
I just changed it to Eastern time.
