Listen to the Ticket 760's Don Harris talk with Spurs' head coach Gregg Popovich about Karl Malone, training camp, and the upcoming season.
Pop hasn't had a face-to-face meeting with Karl Malone yet, but feels it would be, "difficult for him not to stay in L.A."
Spurs' first round draft pick Beno Udrih is going to be arriving in San Antonio this weekend and Pop hopes his sprained knee will be ready in time for camp. Udrih will be the back-up to Tony Parker if he's healthy and ready to go.
Newcomers Udrih, Brent Barry and Linton Johnson III are expected to give the team a big boost. Big man Sean Marks will take on a bigger role this season.
