BOTH DIRK AND JOSH HOWARD SPRAINED THEIR ANKLES LAST NIGHT. WHAT POETIC JUSTICE IT WOULD BE FOR THOSE TWO TO HAVE TO PLAY THE SPURS WITH SORE ANKLES LIKE TIM AND MANU DID LAST YEAR IN THE SEMI-FINALS LAST YEAR!

Come on - you can't really be hoping for an injury?? Let both teams match up full strength (if they both make it to that point) and see who is better...

The caps lock key is a measly 7/16ths of one inch away from your "A" key. Is it so ing hard to type like a normal person and not look like an idiot?

I don't wish injuries on anyone, but the Mavs have been one of the luckiest teams in the NBA this year in terms of health, not unlike the Pistons last year. But luck always runs out eventually.

No they were showing signs of finally tiring out.

They played 11 games in 17 days with 8 of them on the road. They went 9 & 2. They were only the 10th team in the history of the NBA to win all 6 games of a 6 game road trip.

I would say that if anything they proved their resilliancy in refusing to lose minus their Best Player and their 2nd best player hobbling on the b2b game at the end of a long trip.

I understand that is a popular opinion this year, that we have been "lucky" in terms of health. But honestly I don't think that is the case at all. Have the Spurs been lucky also? I think the Mavs have had more health problems than the Spurs.

Josh went down at the beginning of the year. Stackhouse was unavailable for a long stretch. George is just now getting back from injury. Buckner has battled an injury. Both Dirk and Josh have had ankle issues. And those are only the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

We'll start making generalizations about Mavs fans based off Amarelooms' posts. Sound fair?

What do you mean by horrible thread? I asked a legitimate question. Is the Dallas Mavericks team show signs of wear and tear? The Spurs are called an "old" all the time. It raises questions about the ability of the team to stay healthy. You mean to tell me you think the health of the Mavericks team is above being called into question. I think those injuries are minor or moderate and I don't think this will jinx the team in anyway? Gimme a break.....

You said it would be poetic justice like it would be karma or something, Duncan wasnt healthy last year, oh well, he is this year so lets hope for the best. You just coming off sounding like you hope their players get hurt, which is not cool.

Look don't make this personal. If your team is not healthy. It is not such a great team that they can still have a chance to go all the way....That's the point. Like I said...Those injuries are probably minor to moderate sprains...Gimme a break

I hear ya...but the reason I posed the question is b/c those players did injure themselves...Is it b/c of wear and tear...You know they played Milwaukee last night and barely won the game..Just like the Spurs struggled with New Orleans... I wonder if the team that busted out of the gate at the beginning of the season is starting to slow down...that's all
