39-26 DEN leads... early in 2nd quarter
SA is 1 1/2 back of Phoenix for the #2 seed. NBA.com says Denver is winning right now..
2-2 vs Utah, 2-2 vs Rockets, 1-1 vs Phoenix, 2-0 vs Detroit, 1-1 vs Miami....
The only thing to fix now is that 1-2 record vs Dallas....
Since February 11, SA has beaten Detroit twice, Houston, and Utah. All those wins were unimaginable after falling to 33-18 on Feb 11. They are 19-2 since that date, and have lost to only Eastern non-playoff teams.
They're just about ready...

I'm surprised Utah vs SA and PHX vs DEN weren't the ESPN games tonight
Iverson is off to a good start, dominating the 2-time mvp
Uh oh, and mighty Dallas is tied with NY with about 4 minutes to go in the game.![]()
The only reason I want to see Dallas lose tonight is so they can have 12 losses, making it more unlikely to reach 70 wins.
We just can't have Dallas go out there and win 70 games. They're not on the same level as MJ's Bulls to be a part of 70-win history with them.
im telling you cats i dont wanna run against the nuggets
That Nene dunk was just sick over Diaw
You don't think it would be great for the Mavs to win 70 games and then not make the finals? Man, I can't wait to see them crumble under the weight of the expectations.
ahh well thats game...denver lost lol
Denver losing now.
Way to go Denver![]()
No doubt. Whats with Denvers wimping out?
17 pt lead now -5.
They realized that if they help the Spurs get to #2 that they would have to play them in the 1st round
I, for one, hope dallas Gets 70... thats a long way to fall when they choke in the playoffs.... And it would just FURTHER emphasize that they are a regular season team.
I think they would be the only team in NBA history to get 70 wins and NOT win the championship.
