As I understand it, he had already postponed twice...at least, I think I read that somewhere...
There was note in today's Express-News that the Spurs were without P.J. Carlesimo on the sidelines. He did not travel with the team because of "Jury Duty" and won't rejoin the team until Saturday in Toronto.
Now I ask you, how many players or coaches at the NBA would not try to postpone (until summer) their Jury Duty Summons? If you had a guaranteed, certified reason to postpone because of out-of-town travel, wouldn't you just postpone that bad boy and fulfil it when you have time?
Yet, P.J. stayed behind to serve his civic duty. I'm guessing if Peej worked for almost any other head coach other than maybe John Wooden, Peej would have been there in Philly.
Anyone else find this curious?

i read the same, he already postponed it twice.
what he should have done, is told the lawyers he wont be able to be objective about the case. that will always prevent you from being selected
