Mom Arrested After She 'Pimps' 7-Year-Old for Sex and Pornography
A Michigan mother was arrested after police said she offered to let an undercover officer have sex with and take pornographic pictures of her 7-year-old daughter.
The woman was arrested Friday night after arriving at a Romulus, Michigan, hotel where she had agreed to meet the undercover investigator.
Wayne County Sheriff Warren Evans described the incident as "absolutely horrifying".
The woman's name isn't being released in order to protect her five children, all of whom are now in protective custody.
Police say their on-line sting began with the woman offering herself as a pros ute, but before long she was offering her daughter up for sex as well.
"She indicated very clearly that her daughter would do just about anything that the man wanted her to do," Sheriff Evans said. The woman is now being held on five charges, including child sexually abusive behavior, distribution of child sexually abusive material, and illegal use of the Internet for child sexually abusive actions or materials.
