YEAH
For the last 2 years, Tony has been about a 15P / 5R / 4A / 1S PG.
@PHI, he was 0 / 8 / 6 / 3.
Anybody who looks at the single "0" is a myopic dumbass. It's about 240 games since his last "0". Last night had 3 columns well above his career avg, to say nothing of his nose-in-the-belly, hands-out defense from half-court. Everybody can see he's making a huge effort on D vs last year, and very effective against the Starburys, and the Answers, and why not, tonight, The Gloves?
He's playing like a champion in every category right through his scoring drought, exactly what any coach would demand.
We're ING 7-1!
And WE CAN ONLY ING GET ING BETTER as Tony and Brent start hitting, without any doubt, their career PPG and %-ages. And as the defense gels even more, not that our 4th qtr D, esp the crunch minutes, was anything less punishing last night.
I can't wait until SEA's O, if it stays hot til then, runs into Spurs D on 8 Dec @SBC.
Hooray for curse words!!! ity . Whoo!
Oh yeah, and go Tony.
It's so bad we have to manipulate his career stats.
Its 13.1pts, 5asst, 2.8rbs, .95stls. That earned him $11mm and he's playing worse.
Here?!? myopia??? GET OUT!
Hooray for curse words!!! ity . Whoo!
in a man.....![]()
"It's so bad we have to manipulate his career stats."
No manipulation, just unbridled, multi-thread negativity from you.
I was using only the last 2 years when he had fully "arrived", as being more predictive of what to expect this year, than his rookie year.
Tony should be judged on his playoff performance. No more, no less. Long way to go.
