Thats my favorite team. They made big moves this off-season signing TE Randy McMichael, WR Drew Bennett, and LB Chris Draft. They also traded for DE James Hall. Hopefully in the draft they can get Amobi Okoye, DT, Pat Willis, LB, or Alan Branch, DT. If they get 1 of these 3 and have a solid all around draft, watch out.

if they can pull off the trade for Kris Jenkis, and draft an Okoye, this team will win the division next year.

Focus on getting pass rushers, and getting a starting nosetackle that can help stuff the run.

If they can stop the run, the team would pick up 5 more wins..

Kris Jenkins....plus Okoye, or even a Branch, if he stops looking so ty, and the Rams are probaly unstoppable. unless they'd rather have another CB, which id think is a good move. If they take Jenkins and a DT, I look for them to go from 31st in run d to at least top 15.

Dreaming? Like the thinking the Rams will be "unstoppable"? You guys are hilarious.

The 49ers are much more in contention in that division than the Lambs.

Listen Scotty, I know your still upset about Fiona and me doing it in the van every Sunday, she says she's at church but she dosen't go and she's on her knee's and now you know, but the 49ers, come on. They got Clements and Tully Banta-Cain. Thats a over-rated but decent corner, and a back-up LB. The Rams have Will Witherspoon who was adjusting to a new position last year, and a Pro Bowl snub in Leonard Little. He's a pass rushing machine. The Rams offense is now quite possibly the best in league, and if they get Kris Jenkins, then where is Frank Gore gonna run? Not up the middle. He can't just settle for being a east west runner, because the Rams have a fast D, which=a loss of yards. What now Scotty?

Oh yeah, who would you rather have a young Alex Smith, who can't grip a football, or a mature, but not old, Pro Bowler in Marc Bulger?

Both teams are going to be solid, but not yet contenders. I still don't know if I like Alex Smith. He doesn't have much arm, but he's got good composure and makes good decisions. The Rams offense should be great. SJax is a complete monster and their receivers are as good as ever. But that is a bad defense. If they can somehow get Jenkins they may make a move towards the playoffs, but their Corners still suck.

Marc Bulger = Matt Hasselbeck. Pretty numbers and he doesn't totally suck, but what the does he actually DO to help his team win?

Couldnt be more wrong, guy is a great qb, guy has been great since 04. And I think this team after finishing 8-8 last year could definately win the division. The 9ers or going to be way overhyped this year.

If they can acquire jenkins, and get a corner in the draft along with a nosetackle, they win the divison.

    Case closed.

Fantastic reference... but you are basically telling me that Kris Jenkins, who had a decent year coming back from back-to-back injuries, but still not decent enough for a team who was only so-so against the run to want him back... you are telling me this guy is going to fix your pathetic run D (second to last in the league)? Get real.

Then we have T Fark over here saying that Kris Jenkins and some rookie CB are going to turn your pathetic D into a top-5, unstoppable monster? Reality check time, fellas.

By the way, I could give a about the Rams or the Niners, but I think the Niners have more potential to cause havoc in that division, but I see 9-7 as the upper limit for both this year.

Now I'm not saying Jenkins would fix it, but he would really make it better. If the Rams had a sure tackling team then he would fix it. If he started to stuff someone up the middle, and they had to run outside, it's still not a sure thing the Rams would tackle them. However, I do expect them to be better.

I still don't see them doing anything with Bulger at QB. Anybody that's got Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt to throw to is gonna look halfway decent. And their biggest problem last year was that they didn't run it with Jackson nearly enough...unless they scale Bulger's role way back and turn him into a handoff artist, I really don't like the Rams chances.

First off, Bruce is in his 13th or 14th year. Yea, he is a great route runner, but you have to have a qb to make those good throws. And bro, Jackson was third in the league in rushing attempts and 5th in rushing yards, how much more you want the Rams to give it to him? All I know is, that offense is going to be one of the better offenses we have seen in awhile next year, they just got to get that d fixed. If they do, like i said, its not stupid to think after they won 8 games last year they cant win two more this year. Especially since last year they lost 2 games to the Seahawks on last second fgs, they probably should have gotten in last year.
