Ichiro hit one out near the end of the clip. Looks like he was 8 for 34 against Dice-K in Japan. Look for Ichiro to take him deep on Wednesday.
Ichiro only goes deep in batting practice. He gets all these little bloopers and infield hits then just outruns people to 1st. It's annoying.

Especially cus the M's are in the AL West along with the Rangers, so as a Texas fan it is ESPECIALLY annoying seeing the little SOB get a base hit out any pitch, and I mean ANY pitch. But seeing as how he mashes them in batting practice, I guess I shouldn't . He can hit HR's pretty easily if he wanted to.

They set the record for regular season wins in 2001 so they can do it. They haven't been good the last few years, but things will turn around eventually.

BOSTON -- In an effort to generate larger interest in tonight's game, old foes Daisuke Matsuzaka and Ichiro Suzuki have been embroiled in a war of words before the first pitch.
"I will banish my opponent to the land of wind and ghosts," Ichiro said.
After being told of Suzuki's remarks, Matsuzaka responded in kind before abruptly ending the interview.
"Get out of my way all of you, this is no place for loafers," Matsuzaka said. "Join me or die, can you do any less?"
First pitch in tonight's game between the Seattle Mariners and the Boston Red Sox is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST.
