A Question for Buddy Holly or others "in the know"

Are there plans within the next 12-24 months to resolve the logjam on 1604 between Bandera Rd. and Culebra Rd. One of the highest-growth areas in the United States right there. Is someone pouting that they couldn't get a toll-road?

The toll roads will be give the resolution to that problem. My prediction is that its privatized and TXDot gives it to Cintra-Zachary with construction beginning in 2009.

1604 is being tolled from 10E (far east side) to 151 on the far W/NW side.

Plans are for 3 tolled lanes, 2 free lanes and 3 (free) access lanes for a total of 10 main lanes (3 tolled/2 free) and 6 access lanes for a grand total of 16 lanes.
