Ok, this has been said MANY times, but I'll let Solid D restate.
1. Tim
2. Tony
3. Manu
4. Bruce
5. Elson
6. Vaughn
7. Finley
8. Barry - pending health
9. Horry - pending health
10. Oberto
11. Bonner
Who gets the last spots? We've got Beno, Ely, White, and Butler. Does Beno get cut since Pop's been unhappy with him? Or does he get the nod for playoff experience at this point?
I would think Pop would go with
12. Either Ely OR White - not both - because they give him similar things, a big SF who can help them not lose out on size if in small ball.
13. Beno - Simply because Barry's health is shaky and we haven't seen Vaughn in the playoffs, so having an extra PG on the roster makes sense.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Pop cuts Beno and goes with Ely and White, since he hasn't been happy with Beno and he knows he will have to have multiple options when he has to go small and athletic, which he will have to do frequently this year, just as he did last year.
Ok, this has been said MANY times, but I'll let Solid D restate.
Doesn't the new rule allow 15 players, 12 + 3, to be on the playoff roster, with players moving freely between active and inactive freely, just as in the season?
Correct
Good. I thought it was gay how you had to have one set roster.
I'm pretty sure I'll be right with this:
Elson
Duncan
Bowen
Barry
Parker
Finley
Ginobili
Oberto
Horry
Bonner
Udrih
Vaughn
Butler
White
Ely
Yup -- I'm feeling pretty confident with that prediction.
^where's menk bateer?
Not on the Spurs 15-man roster.
Sorry, my bad.
I thought it was 12+1, which would mean 2 guys have to get cut.
Never mind.
You are very wise, FWD.
