Football fans throughout the United States will have an opportunity to watch Saturday’s Nebraska’s Red-White Game from Memorial Stadium. The Nebraska Athletic Department and NFL Network have reached an agreement for the game to be carried on a tape-delay basis on the network on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. CDT.

Greg Sharpe will call the play-by-play action for the NFL Network. Sharpe will be joined on the telecast by former Husker wide receiver Matt Davison. Nebraska Head Coach Bill Callahan will also join Sharpe in the booth for part of the telecast to provide insight into the Husker football program.
For Nebraska, this is pretty big as we have historically closed off our spring game to the media. Now the entire nation can see us play a spring game in front of a 60,000+ strong crowd.

Before KSU fans start bashing us on having Callahan in the broadcast booth as we made fun of Prince last year for spending the entire game in the radio booth, keep in mind that this game will be run on tape-delay so he will be able to add his comments after the actual game. Also worth mentioning is that a Nebraska spring game is on the same level as the KSU bowl game

Why would we knock Cally for that? The spring game is just a promotional practice, so why not be a broadcaster? Every play is on tape, so it's not like there won't be plenty of time to evaluate either.

The rest of the Big 12 had fun messing with KSU last season for turning the spring game into a huge festival that happened to have a football game go along, of which the head coach wasn't even on the field. Of course, it is the offseason and any reason to knock KSU is a good one

don't recall it bothering anybody but husker fans. in fact, you're about the only ones who didn't think that Prince did a solid job his first year.

I think you're confusing Lincoln with Norman.

BTW, absolutely outsanding telecast last night - BC gave some outstanding insight into the WCO.
