Damn that was funny.
Once upon a time a certain NBA coach saw fit to demean the mighty FSP in the course of his efforts to promote a certain mentally disturbed player for a postseason award.
Said player just blew up the Pacers' season last night.
Reap what you sow, Rick.
You mess with FSP, you are blessed with bad Karma for the rest of your career.
P.S.
I wonder if the newer posters know what we're talking about.
I'm not that new but I see that I am missing something.
Is this about Rick saying something negative about the FSP interview with Pop where he criticized the way Artest was being promoted for DPOY? I remember reading about that on WOAI or somewhere ... ?
It has to do with Pop criticizing Carlisle's method of promoting Artest for DPOY of the year in an interview on Ticket760. Then I wrote an article containing Pop's comments which was on SpursZONE and put in my two cents. Then the next day, Carlisle came on Ticket760 and called me out for the article, saying that he was sure that Pop didn't know that someone was "writing down" all his comments.
So it is just a joke, that Carlisle called me out on radio.![]()
wow that must make you fell special, an nba coahc cares what you think enough to talk about you.
too bad he's an idiot, though a pretty good coach one has to admit
If I recall correctly the exact phrase Slick Rick used when referring to Mrs. FSP was "some woman"...
What a jerk and an idiot. I loved his comment about how he felt he was 'fighting for his life' in Detroit. What a pansy. This is what you get when you keep thugs and psychos on your roster.
He's not really a jerk.
I saw him in Salt Lake City at Rocky Mt Revue after all this and he was fine.
But I agree, his "fighting for his life" comment was funny.
