I'm guessing Pop and RC called the league, not Holt. Holt only owns about 20% of the team - it's not the same cir stance as Cuban.

You know Pop did. He said he was going to call in an interview last night. As far as Holt, I thought he was the full owner. Who owns the rest of the team?

I wish Pop were more of a promoter. If he were, we'd have at least 1 DPOY this decade, Manu would be winning 6th Man of the Year, and the Mavs wouldn't be enjoying the ref advantage they're presently enjoying.

This from the 05-06 season, I think things are relatively the same ...

The Spurs ownership group currently has nineteen investors and are members of a limited liability company known as San Antonio Spurs, L.L.C.

The ownership group has a seven-person governing and decision-making body and Peter M. Holt serves as the Chairman of the group.

Listed below are the current members of San Antonio Spurs, L.L.C.: ARAMARK RBI, Inc., Raymond Joseph Barshick, Raul S. Cantu Trust, Richard Cantu Trust, Clear ChannelCommunications Inc., George C. Hixon, H.H. Sports, Ltd., IBC Capital Corporation, Sylvan Stephen Lang,James R. Leininger, Paul R. Markey, Jeanne Lang Mathews, R&B Partnership (Russell and Bruce Hill),David M. Robinson, Southwest Business Corporation, SBC Communications Inc., Felix L. Stehling, Valero Energy Corporation, Zachry Hospitality Corporation.

Yeah Pop for sure. Crawford must be seeing red right now because he is getting just killed in the press over this, almost nobody thinks what he did yesterday was right and not personal. The league needs to take his ass down a peg. Clearly his EGO is out of control and needs to be checked at the door.

Nice, thanks. We should take up donations and buy a small stake of that LLC.

Yah... complete BS. Crawford hosed SA yesterday, but no Mavs fan wants him officiating our games either.

Every team gets hosed and every team gets calls. Get over yourself.

If the Mavs are presently enjoying a ref advantage then I'd hate to think of the time when they weren't.

That doesn't make a ton of sense. If you are in fact enjoying one and you no longer were then your team would be losing close games that came down to iffy calls....

I live out in Oklahoma City now and there have been serious discussions about bringing in an NBA team to replace the now vacant spot the Hornets left. San Antonio's model of local ownership has kind of become the bible for most NBA fans around here and they are hopeful that the ownership group from OKC that bought the Sonics (in much the same fashion) can move the team out here.

Good news for the people of OKC. I was surprised the Hornets did so well up there. OK kind of appeared to be football country, but the NBA did really well there.

He's at most if not all of the games. That's when he's not playing with his tractors.

The league is investigating on the incident. Parker said they called him to know what happened.

Yeah Pop's low keyness in Games 3 and 4 last year really helped us yesterday.

If we can get a fair whistle in that building, I like our chances in the playoffs. I'm more concerned with how the refs will be in the Phx series because they're so darn entertaining an' all. The Suns and Heat both concern me in that regard. At least we're not gonna play Kobe and LA.

No, I'm creating a thread where I will do a summary of what he has said.
