So since Wallace and Artest are out for a number of games. Can this hurt there chances of winning Defensive player of the year? Will Bowen win it or will someone else? Maybe Theo Ratliff or Kirelenko(sp). To early in the season to really tell. Just wondering what everybody elses thoughts are.

    Artest is definitely done.

Wallace will be hurt by it, but not necessarily done.

Kirilenko is the clear frontrunner at this point, deserved or not, because of his stats.

AK47's own coach said that he gets most of his blocks by letting his man go past him, then blocking from behind. No a vote of confidence for DPOY

And that's not true. AK gets most of his blocks as a weakside blocker off an opposition player.

Ron Artest should now be considered for Offensive Player of Year because of his ability to carry the "game" into the stands.
