I don't feel good about this first game. I believe Avery will have to make some lineup changes. Dirk on Stephen Jackson? Dampier on Al Harrington?
ponky your sig is innacurate. finley didn't leave the famiglia, he was outsed by cubes.
we typically don't win our first games....see suns and spurs series last year, rockets series two years ago (down 2 games in that series!!!)
he was ousted by the luxury tax, not cubes...but you're right, i still like finley...but he's no longer a part of the famiglia
Yeah if Harrington has his shot down dampier is in lots of trouble and then dallas will play small.
Well Devean George will be needed for sure than. I think he is the key to this series since Dampier will probably get exploited.
Jackson has been so big for the warriors, he is doing what dunleavy was suppose to do as the point forward in nellie's offense and he really comes to play in the big games including tonite when he scored 31 pts and had 5 dimes
My guess that Dallas will use this lineup. A big and fast lineup. I wouldn't call it small though.

kevin willis was looking pretty good tonight, very efficient for his 15 minutes...and diop has been drinking some kind of crazy juice, FIVE blocks tonight, very nice
Yeah I would pick Diop over Dampier in this matchup though I think Dirk will have an easier matchup playing center.

plus, my team is on a 3 game losing streak (though the last 2 were scrub games) but still, i wanna beat denver already
this is why i'm kind of happy avery let the guys play tonight, it' snice to see them trounce in a big way and get the blood flowing again before sunday...that's a long time to be off and as far as the mavs are concerned, they don't usually play well coming off a long rest.
does anyone know if they announced the spurs-nuggs start time?
maybe at 7 pm before the mavs game?
