2nd round? WCF's? why do Spur fans wait until they think there is a chance they could go all the way to show up at the airport to greet the Spurs? That must be so embarrassing to the real hard core fan.

I must admit watching the bandwagon fans at the airport bothers me also.
What gets on my nerves are all the "Go Spurs GO!" flags that show up at the last minute!

I did that a couple years ago, must have been 90F, sun, high humidity. When they finally arrived, Pop sent them straight to the bus, so we heard nothing from them, and saw them from about 100 yards away. Fun but pretty disappointing.

I remember going straight to the airport after Rober Horry hit that shot in game six of the 05 Finals. Stood around for three hours with my friend Bud (light) There were a ton of people! It was fun can't wait to do it again.

The fans at the airport don't really bother me as much as the local news having to show it. Why do they feel it's news worthy?

Wondered that last year also?? Think the previous championship year the flags/ car banners came out earlier....
