As horrific this incident was, it will probably increase ratings, specifically the 3 remaining pacer/piston games, one being christmas day, which i would imagine being one of the highest rated games ever. The question i ask is, is david stern secretly happy to get a ratings boost, or do you guys think that he will stick to his guns and posibly suspend players for the season??
my opinion is, i dont really think he's happy at all w/incidents like this, because it gives the league a bad name.
I'm not too sure how exciting the Christmas Day game will be between Pacers and Pistons, seeing as how JO's SJax's and Artest's suspensions will more than likely still be in effect.
