For the series
did sir charles tell him to get his head examined
After the Spurs go on to 2nd round against the whoever's, MagicJ will disappear like, well, magic.
Magic in any other capacity other than as a player has never been successful (see his coaching stint, as well as "The Magic Hour", and countless other endevours), so I give this abomination of an attempt at comedy a thumbs down. He's an idiot.
Discussion over.
makes alot of sense.
The Nuggets match up well, rebound, have deadly scorers.
Way way better team than in 05.
Well, I know that you don't want to underestimate any opponent and certainly not take any team that has AI and Carmelo lightly, but the Nuggets have several glaring weaknesses. (defense and outside shooting among them).
The Spurs, while far from perfect, do not have any glaring weaknesses.
Magic normally makes intelligent comments.
I can't make any sense of this one, personally.
Did Magic take a stupid pill before the show?
magic hates the spurs. he loves picking against them.
After we got Finley, Magic picked us to win it all (and then Tim got PF, so that's not his fault).
OMG!! if magic said it, it must be true!! we're DOOMZED!!
rebounding? The Spurs, while far from perfect, do not have any glaring weaknesses.
Other than Bowen, who can play defense on Melo and AI?
I am sick of the commentators blathering about how Melo has grown up. I say he folds under pressure again. After all, he was suspeneded THIS YEAR for his juvenile behavior. It's not like he's had years to reflect on what a punk he is.
Spurs See the tale of the tape between the Spurs and Nuggets and compare their stats and leaders from the regular season

Doesn't seem like their rebounding differential is better when we're 10th and they're 11th.
Tony can defend AI.
If Melo is inside, Tim or Elson will help out. If he takes jumpers, terrific.
How many guys do we need to defend Carmelo.
They allow 46 % shooting and 104 points a game.
How are they going to win with that kind of defense?
If you say, they play fast, then you must also explain the high field goal percentage that they allow.
I think we lock em down on D.

Denver is a worse FT shooting team than the Spurs.
I noticed that too.
I was going to laugh at that also, but you beat me to it.

I am sorry, but I must say that I have always thought that AI was a little overrated.
When you shoot 40 % from the field, then you should not be averaging near 30 points a game.
People say that Kobe is selfish, but at least this year he shot 46 % from the field, despite being the only star player on the team.
Again, at least Tony shoots a high percentage from the field.
T Park, quit being a dramatic in every thread, you know that the Spurs are gonna win this series.
we know nothing my friend.
We know nothing.
it would not be out of this world if Nuggz win the series. but I would bet money they don't.
GO SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From WAAAAY back. His example earlier about discounting regular season vs. playoffs was his Laker squad vs a Spurs squad from the Ice days. Yeah, that's relevant.

Magic talking now about how a LA swept the Spurs when he was playing.
