    Well I can't hear it, but i found it off another site and it talks about him thinking the Warriors will be blown out tomorrow. and one thing I know he said, AND I QUOTE;

    "We have a better chance of being hit by lightning than beating them tomorrow"

    Seriously, does he know how to play mind games or what? Instead of being y and making loudmouth remarks, he plays the role of the underdog and gets into the minds of the Dallas Mavericks.

    Mainly all players from the Goldenstate Warriors have said they expect Nowitzki to have a monster game tomorrow. The strategy Nelson uses to make Dirk struggle is to put a defender in front of him, then have another guard or forward lurk behind him to surprise him by blocking his shot or stripping him from the ball, or the two defenders can surround him and make him turn the ball over or one of the defenders can get their hands on the ball and force a jump ball.

    Dirk Nowitzki, MVP? Yeah right. Gimme the Canadian..i'll still vomit either way.

    That is a pretty smart thing to say.

    The best thing for Don Nelson to do is to compliment his opponents. If he offends the Dallas Mavericks, they are going to play with a fire. The calmer and steadier he is in interviews, the scarier he'll be. After watching his Dirk-stopping strategy the other night, I'm convinced the man is smarter than everyone gives him credit for. I've never seen Dirk so frustrated by another coach's gameplan.

    Right on the money. How many times have we seen where a player or a team makes some y remarks and it just inspires the other team to play their best? I mean, with Rasheed Wallace his guarantee's has fired his team up, but his last guarantee backfired when he said they were going to whoop the Cavs asses in..Game 4 I believe?

    But yep, they asked Al Harrington if Nellie knew a little bit about Dirk Nowitzki's weaknesses. He said no, he knows A LOT. That the Mavericks are like a computer for the Warriors, whatever they type in, the Warriors already know.

    If Don Nelson only knew how to coach defense and he wasn't such an arrogant son-of-a- , maybe he'd still be coaching the Mavericks.

    Maybe he is just staying humble. Is it really that surprising to hear a coach say nice things about an opposing team, win or lose? I have seen alot of press conferences and it's far from unusual to hear a coach or player compliment or give the benefit of the doubt to the other team. I think ya'll might be reaching here. If I'm wrong please tell me what you expected him to say. "Yeah, Mavs don't have a chance. We are going to come out in game two and shut this thing down". Keep in mind that Don Nelson's son is General Manager and president of basketball operations for the Dallas Mavericks. So, please continue. Why exactly wouldn't he say good things about Mavericks?

    What kind of coach thinks his team is going to lose a playoff game? Player or Coach, No matter who your opponent is, you always think you're going to win every game you coach, or play. ESPECIALLY in the playoffs. Now why would he say his team is going to get blown out? Reverse psychology. There's a difference between giving a compliment to the opposing team, and saying your team is going to get blown out.

    No matter what I say, I don't see me changing your mind, so I'll just stop now. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

    Yeah, man! Don Nelson is a freaking genius! I heard that in his free time, (when he's not beating the Mavericks of course) he likes to whipe his ass with rose petals. If he was still the coach of the Mavericks he would have won 3 championships so far. I heard one time he drank a whole bottle of scotch and was still able to recite 3,678 numbers of pi, might I add, after staying up for two days, taking a whole bottle of Viagra, and banging Avery Johnson's wife in every position known in the kama sutra dictionary. They should elect him president.

    Exactly. He is just playing it nice and wise. Let game 2 speak for itself.
