Running back Michael Turner has signed the one-year tender of $2.35 million that the Chargers placed on him when he became a restricted free agent this offseason.

Last Friday was the deadline for restricted free agents to sign offers from other teams. Turner is now under contract with the Chargers for the 2007 season.

Hmmm.....the tender didn't have to be signed until after the draft, this makes me think a trade is under way. Who will AJ rape this year?

A trade is on the way. He seems to be getting more flexible for what he will get for him.

He wants that 1st and 3rd, but I'm willing to bet he'll take a 1st on its own and trade up, or take a couple of 2nd's. What ever he does, it will be gold. And if nothing happens at all, the Chargers still have the NFL's best back up running back.

They could snag quite a WR threat with the 19th pick.

I still think they'd be able to get someone like Robert Meachem at 30. Or the kid from South Carolina.

Buth they could use that other first rounder to get a safety.

Nah, they'd have to use their 30th to get anywhere. Im torn between a wr or s.

Antonio Gates is the , but we have had no safeties that could have a commanding presence on the field since rodney harrison.
