What a pussy.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...v=ap&type=lgnsManu Ginobili has been driving past Smith with what Smith terms his "Euro step."
"He takes an extra step every time he gets into the paint," Smith said. "It always works for him. They never call a walk. I might try it."
"It's not very much fun when you have to put J.R. on Ginobili," George Karl said. "You don't think Pop knows that? Every play he runs when Ginobili is in the game is against (Smith). J.R. gets tricked. We're going to spend some time with J.R."
JR Smith is only playing 8 minutes a game so far, why is he even talking.
odd smith would say such a thing..while in the nba it is common to take three (or more steps for that matter) steps while driving without getting called for traveling, in Europe not a single player would get away with this!!
===> stop in
J.R. would have to actually know what the paint looks like first. All he does is shoot 3s. That's why he's hardly in the rotation anymore. The last time he went inside the paint Melo got suspended 15 games.
Maybe Manu should try punching a guy when he's not looking and then run away.![]()
Manu is Karl's obsession... GO ahead Manu kick teir as***s
It may look like an extra step because he gains so much distance on his stride. Smith should watch some game film
A reserve player who sees few playing time ing on how Manu is whipping is ass? Touche.![]()
Manu and Tony travel all the time and it's rarely called. But AI palms the ball and Carmelo pushes off when he's dribbling, so it's pretty even.
George + JR = big pussy.
Kobe Bryant doesn't travel.
After whining that, did J.R. Smith have that look of utter grievance and angst on his grill like George Karl does after losses?
Why don't they call it? From the moment Manu stepped on the NBA court he did that, and it looked like a travel -- no one else in the league had anything that looked close to Manus Euro Travel. Even the 4 steps players take on fastbreaks look like less of a travel then Manus at first glance. Why do the refs allow this to occur? Manu was not a big name or a known product when he came into the NBA.
THIS is why Pop plays Manu off the bench: so he can get the most out of a great matchup against a no defense playing crybaby like Smith.
Truly the sign of a Denver team that has no fear of the Spurs."He takes an extra step every time he gets into the paint," Smith said. "It always works for him. They never call a walk. I might try it."

That was my laugh for the day! Almost spit my tea on the keyboard!
Actually, Kobe Bryant did. He uses the same long stride that throws so many people off.
Spurs Fans crying about JR Smith crying about Manu.
he is because when karl puts him in he calls a play for manu
and manu goes by him
but pop never calls a play for manu![]()
JR probably calls 3 seconds in the lane when he plays pick-up games....

once again ing of manu begins!!!
Parker does more than extra steps to deserve his travelling calls from officials. Tony plays "Guess My Pivot Foot", sometimes multiple times while waiting for a play to develop.
