I've been saying it all through the regular season, when playoff time comes, the mavs will choke once again as usual because their history is to powerful to overcome.

What did the Mavs miss tonight? They were totally and utterly dominated, yet the stat lines were simlilar (at least in the 3rd quarter) except for those extra 20 points.

The Mavs played terribly, the bigs contributed a whopping three points when they could be schooling smaller guys like Biedrins and Harrington but instead they're playing hot potato with the ball. JHO played alright, but then maybe I'm biased because he's my favorite guy on the court. Dirk was alright, not great, but then he didn't have help from anyone early on and lots of players sucked it up, afraid to drive in and get the calls. Rolling out the red carpet for Baron whenever he desired to go to the hole didn't help either. Unfortunate matchup with the Warriors who have mentally screwed with the Mavericks so props to them.

umm, let me clarify. what i won't do is go and talk smack to all the teams i dislike when they get bumped in the playoffs. yes, i will continue to watch the nba playoffs to their finale but i'm not going to sit there and make fun of other teams where my team isn't concerned. i don't do that now with the spurs/nuggets game, i don't do that with the suns/lakers games, the bulls/heat games, even though i dislike several teams and their fans. my concern is with my team, the rest is just an exercise in mostly silent observation for me.Oh, so Mav's season comes to an end and ponky will still be entertained.
