Frankly I am shocked by what Jack and O'Neal did. Jack lost all control. O'Neal did as well. I still can't believe those guys did something that stupid. O'Neal's been in the league eight years now. He should have known better.
Artest's reputation was already crap well before last Friday night, but Jack and O'Neal lost a lot that night, both in monetary terms as well as the respect of a number of fans, including myself.
It's a shame to see Jack do what he did. He had a charmed life so far in the league, being a significant part of a NBA championship team, a large long term contract, and basically being on the brink of making some All-Star appearances and playing on a contender. Now he'll have this hanging over his head for the rest of his career. What a shame.

Artest will go to law school. Not only will he be able to defend himself in all of the crazy stuff he'll do in the rest of his career, but think of the great commercials. "In the NBA I defended Kobe, I defended T-Mac. Now I want to defend you." Eat your heart out Jim Adler.
Jackson will turn to a life of crime when the mafia contacts him. They'll feel that with his boundless aggression he'd make an excellent killer. That career will fall flat when the Godfather realizes what an inconsistent shooter he is.
O'Neal will start training with Carl Weathers on his punching, because of the three idiots in all of this, O'Neal needs the most work. Sure his one punch looked good, but he nearly fell on his ass doing it. Furthermore he could have turned it into a good combo. 25 games is more than enough time to put together a training montage to rival anything in Rocky III.
