This guy is an absolute asshole. Ever since be blindsided Pete Rose on National TV this guy has continued to ask to the most asinine questions. I'm surprised people even allow themselves to be interviewed by him. Stern was pissed at him last night as was Baron Davis at the half.
I know what you mean. That Stern interview was hilarious. I hope ESPN gets a freakin clue and quits showing freaking interviews in game and allows them to carry on for 2 minutes or more. I'm glad Stern finally said something about there being a game going on that they needed to get back to.
Stern gets props for that.
Jim Gray made his name by interviewing boxers during big fights. He'd go in there and ask Mike Tyson why he couldn't land a jab. He's still living off those balls. Anyone that talks to him knows he's going to do that. The most shameful thing I've ever seen him do is when he asked Larry Bird about the NBA needing more white players but all anyone ever showed was Bird's answer as though he was just expressing a thought.

Jim Gray was 100% wrong in the Pete Rose incident (wrong place, wrong time for that), but I like the fact that Gray was willing to ask Stern tough questions. That is, or should be, the media's job.
Some think the NBA's network partner should simply exist as the PR wing of the NBA; I don't agree with that.
The bigger tragedy is that Craig Sager has not yet been severely accosted, or killed, because of his fashion sense.
