Any idea who the local sportswriter was that flipped off Pop? And I still don't understand why this guy would change the subject after you ask him about his comments on the Spurs.

They aren't my Nuggets, a mistake easily made by somebody who lives in a town where the electronic media is fawning, at best.
Have you heard the story of one of your local sports anchors flipping Gregg Popovich the bird in anger after the San Antonio victory in Game 3?
Reporters from the Express-News told me about it.

I give him credit for writing back. Usually writers with junk articles backpeddle to oblivion and keep spewing out crap.
Interesting, though, that his response was basically a shot at San Antonio and a statement that his correspondent must be ignorant because he lives in San Antonio.

It's also curious that he would call the local media "fawning, at best," only to then tell a story of an unnamed sports writer who allegedly made a decidedly unfawning gesture towards Popovich.

Someone should post his reply in some of the Denver Forums, especially that part where the local Denver Sports Columnist writes, "THEY AREN'T MY NUGGETS"!!!
