there's nothing from this game that suggests putting any confidence in the mavs whatsoever. a whole bunch had to go dallas' way just for them to scrape by in an elimination game at home. i can't see any way the mavs beat the warriors in oakland.

The refs were homers down the stretch, BUT Dallas did double team Baron to force the ball out of his hands and the rest of GS did not capitalize -- jacking up wild shots at the end!!!
Dirk definitely got away with fouling Richardson on the corner J near the end, but props to GS for hanging in there! They should now know how hard it is to close out a series!!! They will seal the deal on Thursday!

Man, you can't control the refs no matter what you do, so the antidote is too play smart, especially down the stretch. GS was still jacking up with the game almost in hand.
It would have been so sweeet being able to say Dallas loses in 5...oh well.

They started to kill time to early, they should have continue on their attack.
They should have attacked the basket after they gained the 9 point lead. They took some bad shots late in the shot clock. Half the Mavs team was in foul trouble. Why did Barnes try to take it straight on Dirk? He is still a 7 footer.
The Warriors overall played about a C-/D+ game for them and almost wrapped this thing up in 5 on the road.
I would really really love to see phoenix/golden state series...as probably many other people...
but that would mean spurs will have to get knocked out...which isn't worth it at all...
We could only imagine...what was the season series like (not that that would be how a playoff series would go...but then again...mavs/warriors series is not much different)?
I think I could live with (and enjoy) 2 straight series of spurs/suns-'05 though...
