it's pretty disconcerting that austin croshere is setting the example.
of a game from the pasty one. We needed someone to step up in our 7/8 hole and he did it in a big way last night.
I liked his aggressiveness as well. Particuarly the hard foul on Davis. Nothing dirty, just a hard foul. Then, when Davis attempts a fake handshake (no sportsmanship involved, that was pure gamesmanship by Davis), Croshere just ignores it. The rest of the Mavs need to adopt this mindset. Quit letting the thuggish talkers get in your head. Just play hard aggressive basketball and ignore the bs.

Why has AC been so maligned since signing his contract... he actually had a pretty amazing playoff performance back in 2000... he hasn't been played mostly due to his coach, and the rest of the personnel on that squad... But he is more than serviceable. He isn't an elite PF, but he should get more minutes than he has...
He is part of our line up. One of the many reasons we have DEPTH and a 67 win game season. Keep using him....although his Defense looked atrocious.

He was one of Indiana's best players against the Lakers in 2000, but has been mediocre ever since. It's not surprising to see him perform in the playoffs once again.
Croshere has always had a nice stroke...don't see how you can call his points bull .

nah, it's ugly as mechanics. He squirts the ball with his hand, all wrist, not enough arm, and his arm is too far forward and extended rather than up and under and ed.
But he does make a good %age. I remember him doing to the Spurs a couple times last playoffs what he's done vs Warriors these playoffs.
I wouldn't say that. He had enough time to bend down and tie his shoes then shoot before he was closed out by a defender.

He, Barbosa, and Marion have horrible strokes but it goes in.
Who the cares about Barry? Your owner is paying the man that was the Spurs' MVP in this series vs. Denver. No one is jealous of Austine ing Croshere.

Croshere doesnt get minutes because he is an awful defender but his and diops contributions were huge for them last nite. What happened to the "great" defender buckner, I don't think I have seen him the past 2 games.
