    No Worries Mates.

The Spurs lose early X 2 on a roadtrip that started ok, but look at the "bright sides". Parker is back to his inconsistent self = brilliant one half (at least that is a significant improvement), Pop keeps playing Horry too much, Rose/Brown not enough if you look their statistics, and the Spurs let someone go off on them - who was it this time? Bonzo or Bonzi (doesn't matter) and Rasho is not being aggressive enough in getting shots, rebounds or whatever.

The fact is that the natural order of the NBA is starting, teams will lose, i.e. the Mavs, Spurs and Jazz all in one night and in the end the WC race will be tight among the good teams. Memphis is one of those teams reaching a state of equilibrium as are the Spurs who traditionally have to go through an adjustment period each year. The Spurs who despite two maddening loses, are still a great team will get on a serious roll again, probably in the comfort of home.

Take a deep breath doctors orders!

No Gasol= we threw away a great chance at an easy win.

Memphis is a deep and tenacious team and with or without Gasol they are tough team at home and potentially a real WC threat this year, at least to move into the 2nd round. Longterm it will be interesting s/p Hubie stepping aside perhaps even during this year = he doesn't seem to look good these days does he?

Hubie isn't going anywhere this season. He doesn't trust anyone else to run that team the way he does (bench utilization, multiple options etc).
