God help'em.
Strategy is to blame, or the lack of it.
I hope everyone on this forum is praying or hoping our
missing servicemen don't suffer the horrors that have
happened to others that have fallen into the hands of
these poor misunderstood insurgents. (Terrorist) And when or if
it does, I wonder what you reaction will be.
Somehow, I don't think it will be pictures of them in
the nude or with dog collars around their necks which
you thought was so degrading and humiliating, I'm sure
there will be pictures, but ones I don't really relish to
see.
May God bless our members of the service and
protect them in their captivity. And may God curse them
if they do to them as they have done to their other
captives.
God help'em.
Strategy is to blame, or the lack of it.
I was thinking about this yesterday. God help our GIs..
I suspect that if they are in the hands of the insurgents, their fate is sealed.
I pray for their safe return.
Two vehicles with soldiers that have no other support, in a place they themselves call the "Triangle of Death".
That's ing stupid. May be time for some thoughtful fragging.
Who's strategy? The dimm-o-craps who say we have
already lost and who got the terrorist bill of rights passed.
Or Bush, who is fighting the terrorist on many fronts.
And if their is no AQ in Iraq, how come they claim to
have them and are now threatening the U.S. if they
don't quit searching for them.........
Military strategy. You are so ing narrow-minded. They sent them in there with no support, dumbass.
Great.
Two service members go missing is an excuse to bash democrats?
The Darfur Massacre is to be blamed on the <insert opposing political party here>. Didnt you know that?
Wheres the toilet flushing icon?
Would you please be so kind as to enlighten me on how
expressing ones view is incorrect?
Speaking one's mind is no longer allowed? Pointing out
the opposing party's "words", that they did utter, is not
allowed?
Do you think they are being allowed to make a phone call?
lawyers allowed access to them?
getting waterboarded or Abu-Ghraibed?
being attackd by dogs?
being photographed naked cornholing each other?
secretely expedited to the Pakistani FATAs?
If you cant ask yourself those same questions and not come to the proper context, then once again, youre just NBADan with a different affiliation.
Okay, will you please tell me how the dimm-o-craps
(okay for you Democrats) have made this country
safer. Just one example will be enough.
And quoting "boutons"
Do you think they are being allowed to make a phone call?
lawyers allowed access to them?
getting waterboarded or Abu-Ghraibed?
being attackd by dogs?
being photographed naked cornholing each other?
secretely expedited to the Pakistani FATAs?
speaking the dimm-o-craps theme song has made us
safer. Since he and the dimm-o-craps have been given
their way. Oh, and since he seems to have a problem
with the distinction between civil crimes, civil liberties
for U.S. citizens and enemy combatants.
Obviously he cant tell the difference.
You seem to be under the assumption that I am somehow defending the leftists. Youd be mistaken under that assumption.
Politics has nothing to do with poorly planned military strategy. Ineffective military leadership is to blame. They seem to have no clue. How the do you send them out there so poorly protected and undermanned?
Think that is stupid? Newest EOF rules have our boys and girls throwing ing penalty flags at approaching unknown vehicles/people.
How's that for brilliant?
You're clueless if you think the military is honestly going to be better or worse under any political party. No party today is seriously militaristic. They are going to be undermanned out there no matter what. The public will not provide what is needed to fight an insurgency, it is unrealistic and extremely expensive. Yes, we will provide B-2 bombers and $45,000 bombs, but those are all for traditional warfare.
Short of expanding special forces to the point of it replacing our infantry, we're screwed no matter what against guerilla warfare.
I doubt these soldiers will be found alive, but I'm holding out hope. I feel worse for their families, they must be going through right now.
I'd frag those orders. When is it time for our kids to use their common sense instead of sense of duty?
They don't have common sense, John Kerry told us so.
You obviously know nothing of military prisons. Disobeying a direct order is one of the highest crimes of military court, and depending on what that order was ("wash that floor!" compared to "Charge that hill!"....see the difference?) that moment of disobedience could cost you your freedom for life.
Military "brigs" make civilian prisons look like Disneyland (except for the MAX prisons, of course). There is no worse fate.
I recall a regiment that refused to participate in a supply convoy. No prison time for these soldiers because common sense was applied.
I'm seriously not doubting you, but link please? I'd like to read about that.
Again, I'm not trying to be a smartass here, just curious.
I don't have a link, just from memory. But, I assure you this did occur.
All that sounds better than getting your head cut off.
