I agree the 49ers will sneak in the playoffs as a Wildcard. But the NFC West is looking a lot better.

We had major injuries last year and were still a couple of plays from the NFC Championship game. That doesn't bode well for your team this year.
And remind me when was the last time your team did anything without cheating? Do you even remember? The NFL shouldn't have been such pussies and should have taken all your first round picks for a decade.

Let me put it this way Fillmoe...If they make it wil be via Wild Card. No way they beat St. Louis and the Seahawks. So what they got Nate Clements. Nowdays, ya need 2 CB's. He can't cover both Holt and Bruce, not to mention Drew Bennett. He will only be good on special teams. And OMG don't get me started on Tully Banta-Cain. He is an over-rated 3-4 LB. I love Frank Gore, but if you can't pass the ball it's pretty obvious what you will do. I just want to add this. Yes, you got Vernon Davis, but you need WR's, Alex Smith still might not get him the ball. Props to getting Pat Willis in the third round. I don't have anything bad to say about him.

we have Shawntae Spencer on one side and Clements on the other... Spencer can hold his own.... and Clements is pretty damn good. Lets not forget about Walt Harris either. as for Alex Smith he progressed pretty damn good last year and he will continue to get better. We have about 3 decent WR's in Darrell Jackson, Arnaz Battle, Ashley Lelie... Then we have the early round picks in Brandon Williams and Jason Hill..... Who knows what kind of impact they will have.... Do I even have to mention who we got running the rock? Our O-Line is solid for years to come... We have early round picks to replace Larry Allen when he decides to retire or even if someone gets injured..... David Baas was a 2nd round pick a few years back and of course we have Joe Staley this year.
