one player commits a flagrant and suddenly the whole team consists of "dirty" thugs?
nice logic there..
I have always appreciated the fact that in almost all games the Spurs have behaved as gentlemen sports stars without trying to disable or injure their opponents. Such thug behavior is not basketball, and shouldn't be described as "physical". They can play the game without behaving like some of their opponents who are just barely staying out of jail because of their violence and other criminal behavior. Pop needs to get our team back in line so they will play like they have the ability to play, not behave as thugs as has happened in the last two games. Our Spurs are above that type behavior.

Yea, seriously...
An isolated incident does not indicate a trend.
?
Please. Calling out the entire team over a stupid, excessively hard foul by role player, Robert Horry, who, by the way, will pay for his actions.
And if the Spurs did not play their trademark swarming, tough defense, I'm sure you'd find them soft as tissue.
If you're gonna call out San Antonio, call out Phoenix for their hard fouls, too, such as on Ginobili and Parker.
The Spurs are anything but thugs. That's ridiculous.
this leap in logic is remarkable. for years, the spurs have been the freaking choir boys of the nba...and all of a sudden one hard foul made out of frustration has morphed them into prison ball thugs.
give me a ing break.
Am i the only person that finds this absolutely awesome.
Seriously what happened to sports fans that eat breath and their team.
What did most of you guys think when the bad boy pistons were destroying teams with their hard nosed play?
The spurs are a knock down, drag out, grind it out team. We arent the suns, we dont rely on sweet alley oops or taking people off the dribble. We go in bust heads and sweat out wins with execution...
Nash is the biggest bleeding vagina. He hardly got hit. This thread is gay.
shame on Horry, that's all. he lost his temper. all the rest our boys are angels.
that being said, let's get over this and we got a brand new 3 game series ahead of us.
The quotes from Amare have turned the whole Spurs team into a bunch of violent, classless, dirty thugs. I think it's great!
Beno still has class. Hes the class of the whole team.![]()
Horry is not a thug. Neither is Bowen. Horry deserves the suspension nevertheless.
yeah exactly. It's a good thing no other Spurs players have done anything cheap like kicking another player in the back or kneeing someone in the crotch.
