    You, sir, are psycho.

yes, the Spurs choked. But God has nothing to do with it, and they will still win Game 5.

BTW, there are about a hundred other thread like this already existing... try posting in one of them.

Lets run the Manu isolation play at the top of they key and run the clock too far then turn the ball over. That pretty much describes the Spurs offense in the last 2 minutes.

Manu, why Duncan didn't take EVERY shot down the stretch shows how "smart" of a coach Pop really is

Duncan carried this team this far, so let him seal the W, not let Manu "Fluke" Ginobili piss the game away

Let's see how the Spurs respond to pressure. We pissed away golden opportunities in games 2 and 4, and as a result, now our backs are more than slightly pressed against the wall.
Suns have shown more guts so far, and look more like a team who wants to win a le. Oh, and that means you two, Pop. 2 second round exits in a row won't reflect too well on your coaching ability. But we all know you'll retire when Duncan goes anyway.

I have to agree. It was a choke by the Spurs. Some of the calls from the refs were pretty bad and obvious, but the Spurs had this game. Their defense or lack of in the final minutes was bad. They did not execute on offense in the closing minutes and the Suns defense has something to do with that. The Spurs lost a Golden opportunity

    "golden opportunities in games 2"

They had no opportunity in game2, since they never showed up, satisfied with the split.

Oh you bet they ing choked, they outplayed them for 42 of the 48 min. Everytime they got up by 8-10 pts they got the stops they needed and could not execute on the Offensive end and push the damn lead. They let the best offensive team in the league hang around until all of the sudden our back were against the wall. Also what the is Pop doing with the Spurs down by 1 and under a min to go not getting the ball to Duncan, that was a terrible call on his part.

That's real talk right there SD21. I'm tired of all these "refs screwed us" posts by all the whiny ass fans on here. We are champions so play like champions, and lose like champions. Some of the posters on this thread make me sick with all their ing about the refs, and their giving up in the 2nd qtr of game 2, and all the other bull . All of you need to man the up and BELIEVE in your squad. Let everything else take care of itself.

I wasn't talking about Game 2. I was saying that Game 4 should have been theirs and that would have been an opportunity to take the life out of the Suns.

This whole disaster could have been avoided if the Spurs would have played smart in the 4th. I keep thinking about it and WTF happened to them? Duncan was a turnover machine. Tony and Manu were god awful and Pop lost his ing mind. ing A it's maddening!

    I wouldn't go that far.

But the big three last night in the 4th quarter played like the little three.

Some of the shots Ginobili and parker took were just mindboggling...

no doubt they choked. It comes from being so close in proximity to the city of Dallas. This team loses little bits of my respect with every game like this they play.

in hindsight, since manu has been so terrible in games lately, the proposed manu for brendan haywood trade may have been pretty good for the spurs.

It's been a running theme in these playoffs through 8 games. Manu and Tony have played a lot better apart than together. Pop took this risk making Manu a bench player. He runs a certain set of plays with Manu playing with scrubs and a certain set of plays when Manu is the 3rd option. The two of them have had very few games all season where both played really well simultaneously. The last regular season game vs. Utah comes to mind, but few others.

I can't think of a single time Manu caught the ball in Game 4 inside the 3 point line or received a pass while on the move. It's always standing still, and it's always outside the line, waiting for that stupid top of the key screen that every team knows how to defend by now. Either he has to drive right or we have to retire that play from the playbook. The only pick and rolls he should be running should be with Duncan and it should be from the wings.

Otherwise run some backdoor cuts, some misdirections, some curls, and get him the ball on the move, inside the 3 point line. Of the seven threes he took, about six were good shots, he was wide open and they're shots you'd want him to take all year. The problem is that all his other looks came off the same stupid play over and over.

Pop's got like at least 10 or 20 Manu plays in this offense, so I don't know why he calls the same every time. This offense became ridiculously isolation based in the 4th quarter when we had good ball movement for the first three.

That is funny, but also pretty accurate.
