Kerr has turned into a piece of . His one sided takes are getting on my nerves
Proving he's no longer a Spurs homer -

Kerr comes out and says the NBA shouldn't suspend any of them, except Horry.
Um, what? Horry's punishment was to be thrown out of the game. The league didn't suspend Jason Richardson for his flagrant foul.
Bowen and Duncan didn't leave the bench during an altercation, because there was no altercation.
Amare and Diaw DID leave the bench when there WAS an altercation.
It's really not that unclear at all. The only question is whether the league will follow the letter of the law, or, as Kerr is suggested they should, whether the league will let this little incident slide because it will make for better basketball. Which is just about the most ridiculous thing anyone who cares about the sport of basketball could POSSIBLY suggest.

of course he does, he's part owner of the suns.
Isn't Steve Kerr part owner in the Suns organaization?
I was listening to another clip of the incident and was hearing Kerr saying Horry shouldn't have fouled him but rather should have grabbed him and padded his fall !! Yes when we see them charging at us just clear space and put some pillows for them so they won't get hurt!
I really don't want to see Duncan or Bowen suspended, but the letter of the law states players aren't allowed to leave the bench for the floor for any reason -- altercation or otherwise.
Well no ? I had no idea. No wonder. What .
I think Kerr is saying what everyone thinks SHOULD happen in all fairness. Even the media members that are saying that they will get suspended think they shouldn't get suspended if the league had any brains.
I don't want either Duncan or Amare suspended. Stern needs to apply a little flexibilty in this case.
Yeah, no, the rule says altercation. It clearly says altercation, next time do research insead of taking other's words for it.

That would make the game interesting. I wonder how they would ever make any subs utions, or go to the locker room for half time. Wierd.
WTF is up with Kerr! Freaking traitor! What a jackass!
Yeah, it would also be fair to everybody if we make all the players the same skill level then everybody will have fun. I don't think Amare should get suspended, I think he will cause he broke the rules so blatantly. And then tried to bs his way out of it.
lets send michael jordan around to kerr to give the clown another blackeye, homer
Steve Kerr has been dead to me since I had to listen to his broadcast during the Raptor's series.
I was already wearing of him last season in our series with Dallas.
My bad guy list for this year (in order of most disliked):
Avery Johnson
Steve Kerr
Kevin Willis
Sean Marks
The last two I only dislike by association; so they're likely not permanent fixtures on the list.
Kerr is alright, he's just talking out of his ass here to protect his financial interests. Most anyone in that situation would do the same. It's up to the contientious reader to realize that and ignore anything he has to say that even remotely involves the Suns as he has a major conflict of interest.
Jordan punches Kerr, take 2

I dont know what qualifies as an altercation in the NBA but the only stoppage in play was to mop up the sweat where Elson landed.
???? the rule explicitly states altercation.
Flagrant 2 carries a 1 game suspension.
The only way Horry isn't suspended is if the league downgrades the call to a flagrant 1.
Kerr is right on the money! Cheap Shot Rob, Duncan & Bowen should all be suspended...But not Diaw or Amare...![]()
That's the most stupid thing that has been said a bout the incident![]()
If Duncan left the bench too, That means that only Horry would be suspended ; the NBA won't ruin a pivotal game 5 by suspending Duncan+Amare+Diaw
Was Richardson's foul not a Flagrant 2, then? I've heard people use that one by comparison, so I assumed it was.
Yeah, clearly no altercation. This is all you need....I don't even think Elson looked at Jones...I feel much better after seeing this...
